Faith is the foundation of our life's work and passions. Jesus calls us into work with Him in our neighborhoods of suffering. It's in the presence of Holy Spirit that we experience personal and community life change. The Love of our heavenly Father is evidence within us that hope has been established through gospel transformation. Our young people are an incredible asset to our communities and we have the incredible responsibility to mentor and disciple those who are a part of it.
They can be examples of what our youth can become when creating structures of safety,
trust, and respect within a nurturing environment.
The hard work and investment to have a proper Theology of God, to have healthy rhythms and take responsibility of our Spiritual Development are necessary to protect our purpose.
“to grant to those who mourn in Oakland— to give them a beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
